Private Snow Removal
Summit County Ordinance follows Colorado State Ordinance for removal of snow from your property, parking, and plowing operations. WBMD applies state laws:
- Snow removed from private driveways must stay on the property. Citizens are not allowed to push or blow snow from their property onto District roads or ditches.
- This applies to private contractors hired by residents. If a private contractor ignores this policy, the employer will be held accountable.
