TRASH & RECYCLING
TRASH:
WBMD provides two trash dumpsters that are emptied twice a week. These dumpsters are for resident use only and are not for:
- Business-related trash
- Contractor trash
- Slash
Please refer to the Trash and Recycling Policy linked to the side for more details.
"Ask Eartha" from High County Conservation Center can answer questions about where to bring car batteries, light bulbs, medical waste, chemicals and pains. A link to Eartha is provided.
We have also included a link to the Summit County Resource Allocation Park/SCRAP, aka "the dump/landfill", 2026 rules and fees. There they accept yard waste, construction waste, appliances (check website and rules sheet!)
RECYCLING:
WBMD provides a recycling dumpster. With that, there are restrictions on what can be recycled that is picked up by a truck. If you would like to recycle other items, you may need to go to a county drop off center.
Please ask High Country Conservation's Recycling Robot (linked below) for all recycling questions.
We are now able to recycle some glass!
