Willow Brook Metropolitan District (WBMD)
Willow Brook Metropolitan District is a quasi-municipal corporation and a political subdivision of the State of Colorado. Willow Brook Metro District is covered under the Colorado Governmental Sovereign Immunity Act.
WBMD is supported by tax revenues (mainly property tax.) WBMD provides road maintenance, domestic water, public safety (fire hydrants, wildfire fuels reduction, among others), equestrian center management, open space oversight - including our haying and irrigating operation, and other supportive services. Under Colorado law, WBMD elections are limited to registered Colorado voters who are either property owners in their own name in the district, the spouse or domestic partner of a property owner who owns property in their own name, or a full time resident of the District.
Willow Brook Metro District has an adminstrative manager, Community Resource Services of Colorado. Sue Blair is its President and Carlos Arreola-Karr is our specific District Manager. CRS provides adminstrative, financial, utilities, and election support.
Willow Brook Metro District uses ORC as our domestic Water Operator. ORC manages our water systems and water quality testing.
